"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8 NIV)

Some might consider America to be the center of the world but, by the Bible's definition, it's described as being at "the ends of the earth." Jerusalem is the center and the gospel that started there, will come to a dramatic conclusion where in began.

As the apostle Paul carried the good news from Israel to the world he realized that even though he was an apostle to the Gentiles, the Lord's plan to reach the nations would go through the Jews. As a matter of fact, the entire book of Acts is a blueprint of this plan. Every location the Spirit directed the apostle to go, he went to the Jewish people first. If they rejected him in one location, he would go right back to them in the next. It is quite apparent he considered this process a necessity.

We will continue in this spirit because we know that by following God's plan and order, He will supernaturally open the door for the gospel to be delivered to all people groups.

Recently, we reached out to the Jewish people in Dallas at the Mattisyahu concert. Mattisyahu is a very interesting fellow and not your everyday orthodox Jew. He has become very popular in Amercia, Israel, and around the world. His music is a mixture reggae, hip-hop and beat box that is infused with Chasidic Jewish thought and theology. See photo.

As the concert was ending and people began streaming out of the doors, we strategically placed a billboard of the Ten Commandments (in Hebrew and English) along the walkway. See photo.

10 Commandments on display

We felt compelled to really get to the heart of the matter and speak to people about sin, which is breaking God's Torah, and the only solution that is provided for atonement of that sin, which is blood sacrifice. (Leviticus 17:11)

Obviously we had some very interesting conversations and just as it was in the day of Rabbi Shaul(the apostle Paul), some wanted to hear and some did not.

Shaul Katzav, an Israeli born evangelists that now lives in America, has started a ministry called Sela Shalom. His vision is to bring the gospel to the Jewish people in North, Central, and South America. Please pray the Lord will bless his work!

As He began to speak to a couple of young men coming out of the show, Shaul lovingly explained to them that we have all broken the Commandments and none of us are righteous before the Lord. We are all in desperate need of the perfect blood covering of the Messiah Yeshua. Praise God! Trent (in the blue shirt) was convicted and asked us to pray for him. His friend Chris also joined in as members of our team began to pray that the Lord would reveal Himself to them in a mighty way. Please continue to pray for their salvation.  See photos.

A mother brought her son and one of his friends to the show. As they walked by the billboard, her son asked, "What is that?" See photo.

Neil explaining the Ten Commandments

I explained to him that these were the Ten Commandments that Moses gave the children of Israel along with the rest of the Torah. I asked him if he knew the Commandments and he said he knew most of them.

Suddenly, his mother asked me what were we doing out here. I told her that the God of Israel loves her and desires to have a relationship with her. She then asked what organization I was with. I said, "We are here to tell you that Yeshua, Jesus, is the promised Messiah of Israel. She immediately became very angry with me and began to tell her son and his friend, "Let's go!"

But, the more she tried to get them to leave, the more interested they became in what I had to say. Pray that as they grow older, others would water the seed that was planted. Pray they would realize Yeshua is the King of the Jews and the Savior of the world.

We continued to have dialogue with many people that night and touched a number of hearts.

One other note about Mattisyahu is he comes from a sect of Judaism called Chabad Lubavitch. Many of them believe that a famous Rabbi, Rabbi Schneerson, who died in 1994, is the messiah.

Thomas Ray, from Faith Fellowship, asked a very interesting question. He asked how is it that the Lubavitch can believe Rabbi Schneerson is the messiah, and yet they are still widely accepted in the Jewish community. But if Jewish person believs Yeshua is the Messiah, they are totally shunned and told they can no longer be Jews? Seems like quite the double standard.

We pray that the Lord would reveal to Mattisyahu and the Lubavitch the True Messiah. We belive if they would realize that Yeshua is the One, they would bring a multitude of Jewish people to Him.

Below are more pictures of the outreach. We want to thank all the faithful that boldly joined us in this work.
